ArtVilla Studio Payment and Cancellation Policy & Liability Waiver
1. Payment Policy
Payment is required to secure your reservation, whether made online, by phone, or in person.
All payments are non-refundable.
For open sessions or classes, cancellations made at least 36 hours in advance will receive studio credit for future use. Studio credit is valid for 12 months, is non-transferable, and may be applied toward any eligible class or event.
For recurring children’s classes (including drop-off classes), missed sessions are not refundable and are not eligible for credit unless canceled at least 36 hours in advance.
Private party cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the event date to receive studio credit or reschedule. Deposits for private parties are non-refundable.
No partial refunds, credits, or price adjustments will be issued due to reduced attendance, late arrivals, early departures, or schedule conflicts, regardless of the reason.
No-shows for any event or class will result in forfeited payment and no credit issued.
ArtVilla Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class or event due to insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will be offered rescheduling or studio credit.
2. Liability Waiver
By entering ArtVilla Studio, located at 11395 W Palmetto Park Road, Suite AA, Boca Raton, FL 33428, or by participating in any ArtVilla Studio program (including children’s drop-off classes), you acknowledge and agree to the following:
You voluntarily participate, and/or permit your minor child(ren) to participate, fully aware of potential risks including but not limited to slips, falls, use of art materials and tools, allergic reactions, interactions with other participants, and other unforeseen incidents.
You assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur to yourself, your child(ren), or your guests, regardless of cause.
You release and hold harmless ArtVilla Studio, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or demands arising from participation or presence on the premises.
You agree to indemnify and defend ArtVilla Studio against any claims brought by third parties resulting from your actions or the actions of your child(ren) or guests.
3. Drop-Off Children’s Classes (Supervision & Conduct Policy)
For designated drop-off classes, parents/guardians may leave their child(ren) at the studio for the duration of the scheduled session (approximately 75 minutes).
By enrolling a child in a drop-off class, you acknowledge and agree:
ArtVilla Studio provides limited, activity-based supervision only during the scheduled class time. This is not a licensed childcare service or daycare.
Children must be fully toilet-trained, able to participate independently, and able to follow basic instructions in a group setting.
ArtVilla Studio does not provide one-on-one supervision, behavioral support, or medical care.
If a child becomes disruptive, unsafe, or unable to participate appropriately, ArtVilla Studio reserves the right to contact the parent/guardian for immediate pickup.
Parents/guardians must remain reachable at all times during the session and agree to return promptly if contacted.
Late pickup fee: $1 per minute (minimum $10)
Late pickups will incur a fee of $1 per minute, with a minimum charge of $10. Repeated late pickups may result in removal from future classes.
ArtVilla Studio is not responsible for children before drop-off or after the scheduled class time ends.
4. Medical & Emergency Authorization
You certify that your child is in good health and able to participate.
You agree to disclose any allergies, medical conditions, behavioral considerations, or special needs in advance.
In the event of an emergency, you authorize ArtVilla Studio staff to seek medical assistance for your child if you cannot be reached. You agree to be responsible for any resulting medical expenses.
ArtVilla Studio is not responsible for administering medication.
5. Personal Property
ArtVilla Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings brought onto the premises.
6. Photography & Media Release
By attending any class, event, or program at ArtVilla Studio, you grant ArtVilla Studio the irrevocable right to photograph and/or record you and your minor child(ren).
You consent to the use of such materials for marketing, social media, website, and promotional purposes without compensation.
If you do not wish to be photographed, you must notify staff prior to the start of the session.
7. Minor Consent & Parental Authorization
By registering a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian, or are authorized to provide consent.
You:
- Approve the minor’s participation in all activities
- Accept all risks on their behalf
- Agree to all terms of this agreement
- Accept full responsibility for their conduct and participation
You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless ArtVilla Studio from any claims arising from the minor’s participation, including claims brought by or on behalf of the minor.
8. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Acknowledgment
By making a reservation, enrolling a child, or entering the premises, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Payment Policy and Liability Waiver.
